The Museum has many interesting displays from nursing caps and uniforms to medical equipment used during the early 1900’s. Many of the items are from personal collections and are accompanied with wonderful stories. Schedule a visit to see the artifacts firsthand.
Tours of the Museum of Nursing History may be scheduled through the contact form on the web site or by phone message @215-951-1526. The tour may be self-guided or docent led. Guided tours are available by appointment only.
The fee for a guided tour is $5.00 per person, $3.00 for student and seniors age 62. An average tour is about 1 hour. Payment is by check only. There is no charge for self-guided tours. Donations, of course, are always welcome. Members may also tour without a fee.
The Museum of Nursing History at La Salle University is in St. Benilde Tower- Please take note of the Germantown Dispensary etching at the entrance. Parking is available in Lot K.
